Wedding photographer review
Hannah is great! We chose her because her photography style really brought out the joy and excitement of the day. She captured moments that we may not have seen behind the scenes and also brought back memories of special moments in her quirky style.
Hey lovelies! As you read this I’ll be on top of a mountain, somewhere in the Lake District. (We’re using up my man’s holidays while the sun shines!) I’ve had this gorgeous wedding up my sleeve for some time now – Henna and Jason are a stunning couple and their day is full of joy and love and life – it’s just beautiful. Henna is also a talented modern calligrapher, and her vow booklets are exquisite. As calligraphy is my thing I fell head over heels with these and couldn’t resist sharing them with you! The wedding took place just before lockdown at the beginning of the year.
Did you see Hannah and Alex’s wedding rehearsal on the blog yesterday? I’m still in love with that pretty sunflower dress… which was a clue to all the sunflower loveliness coming up on English Wedding today! Theirs was a wedding weekend following American traditions but celebrated over two days at Great Fosters in Surrey – and our lovely friend Amanda Karen Photography was there to capture it all!
Pinterest fingers ready my lovelies, for a feast of sunflowers, summer blooms and fairy lights – and one of the prettiest backless wedding dresses I’ve ever seen! Huge congratulations to a happy and amazing couple – Hannah & Alex, you’re so good together and we LOVE your wedding!
Hey lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Who else dug out their favourite jumpers this weekend? I’m loving feeling all snuggly in mine today!! We have a lovely week ahead on English Wedding with some gorgeous real weddings lined up, a stunning dress feature and expert tips on floral styling for barn weddings… but first, let’s start the week with something truly beautiful. Richard and Claire married at The Italian Villa in Poole last October. Claire looks super cute in her lovely Galina Couture gown which has to be one of the most amazing dresses we’ve ever seen on the blog! WOW!! The wedding is full of smiles and gorgeous styling which I hope you’ll love as much as I do!
Victoria and Lawrence used the loveliest autumnal touches to decorate their beautiful medieval venue Dartington Hall. It’s the largest medieval house in the West of England and possibly one of the most romantic wedding venues in the South West. They chose to marry in November because they love the cosy touches they could incorporate into their day: log fires and autumnal colours with rustic touches: lots of dried leaves, pine cones, ivy, burnt oranges, candles… and it looks wonderful!
The stunning images of this gorgeous couple’s day were captured by English Wedding Blog sponsor Martin Dabek Photography. Martin is one of the loveliest photographers we know and consistently gets fabulous reviews from his wedding couples. You can discover more from him here:
