Nothing quite beats the warmth of a tipi wedding – and Sarah and Matthew used theirs as the focal point for a festival-style celebration on the family farm. The little touches and flowers are gorgeous; but the loveliest thing about today’s wedding is Sarah – she’s so beautiful in a blush pink gown which just suits the day perfectly (and is amazing for dancing in!)
I love Rachael & Darren’s wedding – the dress code of black tie for all the guys makes it super gorgeous and I adore the venue – such a perfect fit with the elegant styling of the day! Our stunning bride and handsome groom styled the venue with lush creamy white hydrangeas and roses, candles, sequined table runners and mirrors.
The overall look is fabulously done: it’s elegant and timeless, and the black tie dress code makes it look so chic and decadent – reminiscent of 1920s old Hollywood style! Colour accents are kept really simple with gold and blush styling touches perfectly complementing the glamorous look of the beautiful bride and groom.
Gorgeous Hertfordshire bride Anita is making a splash of fabulous colour on the English Wedding Blog today. Her vintage inspired styling is balanced with vibrant accents, and I’m in love with her Sally Beam wedding dress – isn’t it fab? Together with groom Naoto they planned the perfect day, and I love how refreshing their styling is. I hope you’ll adore it too!
Today’s wedding is wonderful. A glorious mix of Lakeland and Scottish styling touches, with home grown flowers (all of them – isn’t that amazing?!), DIY details and the most beautiful bride and gorgeous groom. The venue is lovely Askham Hall, which looks fabulous and has the most incredible gardens for outdoor shots. I think my fave thing about Cally and Colin’s wedding is all the help they had from friends and family to bring their day together, and all the personal touches – an heirloom kilt; hand painted table names; oh! and a genius idea of a song from the best men which Cally explains in her interview below. You’ll love this…
Jen and Joe had such a beautiful, summery wedding at Loseley Park with pretty florals and the most amazing backless lace dress. The look of their day was very English country wedding, and worked beautifully to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Family and friends decorated the venue, and Jen’s mum made all the macaroons herself – they look fab.
Images are by lovely Verity Quirk Photography, who gets a great review from our gorgeous bride and groom. Verity told me Jenny and Joe are huge G&T fans: “Their friends and family say they go together just as well at Gin & Tonic does, so at the end of their ceremony they both made a G&T together and shared it while leaving the ceremony! I LOVED that.
