Elise and Rajiv’s Caswell House wedding is perfect: elegant styling and classy touches make their day wonderfully pretty and perfect for the 15th century manor house. They make the most gorgeous couple, don’t you think? This is ever so beautiful and I know you’ll love it. Huge thanks to our lovely sponsor Carol Elizabeth Photography and to the stunning bride and groom for their words of wisdom and advice!
“We had a holiday theme with an asian twist. All our tables were named after South East Asian Islands and we also had Asian lounge music in the background. The reason for that was because we met in Malaysia and the start of our relationship was spent travelling in different places in South East Asia.
Of course you can do the splits in your wedding dress. You can also look as effortlessly glamorous as any Hollywood leading lady, marry the gorgeous man of your dreams, smile all day long and party until you drop. And to anyone who doesn’t love a sparkler send-off? You’re wrong!
Everything about today’s fabulously glamorous and fun winter wedding will show you this is how it’s done – and it’s beautiful from beginning to end. The venue – Rudding Park in Harrogate – is fabulous. The special touches Jess and Andy incorporated into their day are wonderful (especially the mirror table plan!) – it’s all simply breathtaking. The trick is to book an amazing photographer to capture every second for you, and they nailed that too!
Hey lovely! I hope you have some lovely bank holiday plans, and you’re making the most of the last day of the weekend!! We’re on our way back from a little Welsh adventure this afternoon, and I’m excited to get back to blogging this week (I have some gorgeous features lined up!) but first – an absolutely beautiful wedding from Gloucestershire which I know you will LOVE!!
Rebecca and Laurence’s wedding took place at St Peter & St Paul Church of Northleach followed by a marquee reception. This was a very relaxed wedding with a Pimms garden party, band, gorgeous venue decor and a cake made by the couple’s friends.
Today’s wedding has character, individuality and good old English country charm. I love Kelly and Gary’s choice of The Bull Hotel for their intimate Kent wedding – it’s a great little place and just looks so welcoming and off the beaten [wedding] track! Kelly is gorgeous – and despite Gary at one point not wanting a photographer, I’m thrilled they booked lovely Michelle Cordner Photography to capture their day.
“Our wedding inspiration came from us and how we are as a couple. We are relaxed (sometimes too much!), fun loving and love a quirky building and the countryside. We wanted a Kentish feel to our wedding that was slightly different and not what everyone else does.
Today’s wedding is pure class with sprinkles of elegance from beautiful Pennard House in Somerset. Our gorgeous bride Kate wears a divine Charlie Brear dress; husband Paul’s tailored suit is individual, classy and so stylish. I love how Kate sings her mum’s praises for the little crafty touches which made their wedding so lovely for a blog feature.
Kate’s words of wisdom are a slightly different spin to the usual ‘don’t stress over details’. Her advice for you is to stick to a deadline: “If it’s not done by 2 days before, give up and pour yourself a Gin and Tonic. You can sweat the small stuff that no-one will even notice – don’t bother. Just relax, have fun, and if it goes wrong, it doesn’t matter.”
