Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?

Trevenna Barns. The most beautiful setting and fortunately we had the perfect weather. Everything was covered, nothing too much trouble, a really incredible venue with raving reviews from guests.

Did you love wearing your outfits? How was your shopping experience, was it fun to find your wedding gear?

I absolutely loved my dress and wouldn’t have changed a single thing about it. The suits all looked so smart too!

Charlie played throughout our drinks and food reception. He was absolutely incredible. I requested songs beforehand and Charlie played them exceptionally well.

Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness

Our florist did a lovely job on all of the bouquets and the display for the registrars table/top table was amazing. She also created little displays for the centre of the tables which were simple and elegant, thank you Rachael’s Flowers.

As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?

The Cornish Cake Pantry! Just amazing! We have used Julie before and there was no question that she was the one to make our wedding cake. Julie created our perfect cake in conjunction with Rachael for cascading flowers, the overall cake was more than I we could have wished for.

What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?

Tom Walker – Just You & I. This has always been our song so it had to be. The words resonate with our time together so it was just perfect.
