A glorious, joyful wedding for a gorgeous couple with a wonderful sense of fun! This one will go down in English Wedding history for the creative way Phoebe & Sarah picked the best bits of their heritage to include as wedding traditions – and for the colour, the joy in Martin Cheung‘s images and the generous reviews of their incredible wedding suppliers. Happy Tuesday, lovelies! Are you doing ok? I wanted to brighten your day a little with this beautiful Nottingham wedding – it’s glorious and full of love and relaxed, happy vibes. Lizzie and Steve look AMAZING, the garden theme is beautiful and all the little handmade touches are just WOW. (Felt flowers are the future!!) Then there’s the sports day, which looks so much fun! The venue is the Walled Garden at Beeston Fields- a unique marquee wedding venue in Nottingham set within the grounds of a Victorian garden. All images are by lovely Nathan Walker Photography.
With love,
Our midweek wedding is a blissful, breathtaking, glorious celebration of love at Nottingham’s Carriage Hall. Stephanie and Peter were married in April, which they chose as a time of new beginnings – and the perfect month to start their married life! The lovely couple always knew they wanted a humanist wedding ceremony: “Humanism celebrates the idea that we have one life to lead, so we need to live it in the here and now, that we need to make the most of life’s beauty and riches every day; it focuses on the goodness of humanity and community, family and friends; and the importance of love.”
Welcome, lovely, to the second day of ‘English Wedding lite’ – my look back at some of our favourite weddings from our 2018 archive. Yesterday we reminisced on James & Keye’s festival wedding; today we’re all about luxe, glamorous and timeless wedding style with beautiful Tig & Piers. They were married in Nottingham and chose Martin Makowski to capture their day. You’ll love their flowers – they’re by Lou at No 27 Floral Design.
