I can step out of my front door and see the fells of the Lake District. It’s the most incredible place to get hitched, and as destinations for weddings go, it’s absolutely top of my list! Gorgeous couple Krystan and Abi tied the knot at the stunning Cragwood Country House, and had an intimate wedding with their closest family. Seeing this amazing celebration land in our inbox last week was basically a dream come true! Huge thanks to the beautiful couple for sharing their day with us, and to Jaye Peg Photography for the images.
We are head over heels in LOVE with this gorgeous styled shoot at Kelham Island Museum with real life couple Richard and David. The guys are gorgeous, the styling is dark and decadent with lush greenery and dramatic tones. Stunning stationery sets the scene and an enchanting array of sweet treats looks wonderfully tempting. Richard and David look amazing, rocking Master Debonair suits – and David’s gold crown is an absolute showstopper. Before we dive in, let me say we don’t get nearly enough LGBTQ+ weddings and shoots in our submissions inbox. Today is making us incredibly happy – and we want to see more! Huge thanks to lovely Sam, English Wedding member at Fantail Designer Florist, for sending this in. There’s a full supplier list below for all of you Yorkshire couples!
I’m in love with this wedding. It’s bright and joyful and colourful and… well, it’s everything. Jimmy and Aaron are gorgeous. Their photos show a love and tenderness which is just adorable. Their day is relaxed and fun, playful and full of special moments which are making me smile back at my screen. The venue is very quirky. Aaron and Jimmy are a super relaxed couple, very much in love and asked their guested to dress in the LGBTQ+ flag colours and they did not disappoint. The outfits and shoes were just wonderful, as you will see. It was a wonderful colourful wedding. I always like to begin a new month with an amazing wedding, and today’s makes me SO happy. I do hope you love it too!
A glorious late summer inspiration shoot, with lovely Michele and Graziella, who’ve been featured on English Wedding before! I’m loving instagram right now as a place to discover some really lovely LGBTQIA couples who are modelling for wedding shoots like this, and today’s shoot is pretty special because we get to discover a little more about this gorgeous pair thanks to Stylish Celebrant Tony. The images are divine, with a sprinkling of much-needed sunshine! And I’m completely in love with the glorious yellow and blue florals on the wedding table, set in the grounds of the magnificent Marden Park Mansion. Thanks to lovely Jenny at Juno Weddings for sending this one in and introducing it with some special words below.

Gone are the days of rigid rules regarding what brides and grooms can wear on their wedding days. Nowadays, you can essentially wear whatever wedding attire you’d like to – and while that gives you plenty of freedom, it can leave you feeling overwhelmed and at a loss as to where to start putting your outfits together. This is especially true when the big day you’re planning involves two grooms or two brides (or two people without any labels at all!).
